Interesting - having this bacteria in your gut (even if causing no symptoms per se) means one is more likely to get a gut bleed from use of aspirin (up to three times more likely in men in age group 50-70).

Up to one in three men in this group can have this bacteria in their stomach, according to the research below. So this is a significant consideration for mass prescription of low dose aspirin.

I wonder if this applies to other anti-inflammatories?
