IS OSTEOPATHY ABOUT BONES, JOINTS AND MUSCLES?

No, it can be more than this - osteopathy can help (or contribute to a multi-disciplinary approach to) a variety of other problems ranging from headaches, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, and other so called 'functional' disorders. Very often, actions to improve sleep, breathing, posture, nutrition and exercise can make a world of difference.

But spinal functioning has such a large effect on the functioning of the whole body and mind that improving the functioning of the body through osteopathic treatment does often have spin-off benefits.

Osteopathy, despite the name, is not really about bones!
